Swimming Pool 2 decision at GRF Board Meeting on May 1st.

On May 1st the GRF Board will try to make a decision on how much money should be spent on the Clubhouse 2 swimming pool. As you all are probably aware, Pool 2 has been closed for quite an extensive time period (although we had been heating the spa for most of the winter while the pool was closed, quite a cost savings).
We are now at the crossroad for deciding what we are going to do about the problem. Not being familiar with the problem, here is an opportunity for readers to add their comments to this entry. Based on what I heard, the following 3 options are available:
1). Minimal temporary (?) repair costing about $60,000.
2). Extensive temporary (?) repair costing $170,000.
3). Permanent repair ??????.
? Rebuild in current location
? Rebuild in new location
Our track record on pool repairs is not too good. A crack should be repairable on a permanent basis with the techniques that are currently available using pressure fill.
The greatest fear is that Pool 2 will become a pawn in the "rebuilding of Clubhouse 2."
